Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths Official Trailer – Magic: The Gathering

This was a very challenging but rewarding project to lead. It seems like we had every challenge in this trailer, dense Volumes, emissive lights which had to pass through geo and then diffuse through volume, vast scale changes between character assets, a magical emissive Fx Character and a lighting change which leads to the dreaded Red vrs Green Lighting set up, both very saturated and tricky to balance.
Luckily we had an immensely talented lighting and compositing team, Everyone really went beyond the call to make this trailer truly stunning. I'm incredibly proud of our team and what we managed to produce in just a few short months.
